WEBESmustbeinstalledtoensureproperalertsforyourEVAproducts.YoucanuseWEBESwithHP
ISEE remote service, or you can configure WEB ES to send email notification only to a local account.
The email option is also available when you use W EBES with ISEE.
WEBES is a service tool that provides real-time diagnosis of hardware events ranging from single errors
(or faults) to multiple event correlation and complex analysis. It is designed to send notification only
when events require a ser vice action.
A Ser vice To ols CD, containing W EBES and ISEE, is included with HP Command View EVA. HP
recommends that you also check the HP web site for updates. You can download the latest WEBES
kit from this location:

EVA remote support tools
As a no
-charge option, HP will install ISEE remote service tool for any Enterprise Virtual Array under
warr
anty or service support. This tool enables EVA self-monitoring and diagnosis. ISEE can significantly
redu
ce the time required to isolate and correct problems. If desired, the tool can be confi gured to
tran
smit status information directly to an HP service center for proactive problem resolutio n. Contact
your local HP Services department for details.
