Prerequisites Multipathing support A Sun Solaris system with EVA3000/5000 storage requires the installation of either Sun Solaris MPxIO/Multipathing or VERITAS VxVM/DMP multipathing software on each host to achieve high-availability, multipath capability. Sun Solaris MPxIO/Multipathing and VERITAS VxVM/DMP multipathing software require at least one FCA connected to both controllers. VERITAS VxVM/DMP can require installation of an array support library in order to recognize the arrays.
