• Default — If PVOL is normal, hardware providers will search for matching TP-VOLs
associated with any pool ID. If PVOL is the TP-VOL, hardware providers will search
for a matching TP-VOL associated with any pool other than PVOL’s associated
pool. If there is no matching TP-VOL associated with other pools, hardware pro-
viders will check for a matching TP-VOL associated with PVOL’s pool.
• Specify PoolID — Lists the available THP pools. Based on your selection, hardware
providers will search for matching TP-VOLs associated with the selected pool ID.
NOTE:
• SVOL selection is applicable only for XP20000 and later.
• Normal LDEV is the default SVOL Selection option.
