Installation
Prerequisites for installation
Before you install HP Insight Environmental Observer, you must have the following software installed:
IMPORTANT: Before you begin installation, be sure you login with administrative rights and
disable any personal firewall and virus protection software.
• JDK 6 Update 21 for Windows® 32 ("Installing JDK" on page 9)
• MySQL 5.1.49 for Windows® 32 or 64 ("Installing MySQL" on page 11)
• JBOSS 4.2.2.GA
These installation prerequisites are included on the HP Insight Environmental software CD.
Installing JDK
1. On the software CD, double-click the jdk-6u21-windows-i586.exe file.
2. After the license agreement appears, click Accept.
