HP recommends using a single-server configuration for optimum server performance. Before you install HP
Insight Environmental software, be sure to configure your sever correctly.
• Client PCs access the Observer web address.
• Configuration–Single server configuration
o Gateway connects using Ethernet.
o Server runs the database and web servers.
• Data-sensor nodes transmit data to the gateway.
