Installing new version components
After all of the previous software component applications are successfully removed, install the new software
component applications.
NOTE: The following sections and screen shots are an example of installation, and, therefore,
the version number might differ from the current software version number. You must adjust the
specific instructions to your current software version number.
Installing software components
1. Install the latest MySQL ("Installing MySQL" on page 11).
2. Install the Application Server component ("Installing the Application Server" on page 26).
3. Install the Imaging Server component ("Installing the Imaging Server" on page 31).
4. Install the Device Manager component ("Installing the Device Manager" on page 41).
5. Install the Observer component ("Installing Observer" on page 34).
6. Install the Configurator component ("Installing Configurator" on page 38).
7. Install the SNMP Agent component ("Installing SNMP Agent" on page 50).
Updating the system database
1. Copy the db folder from the software CD to the local drive (C).
2. From the local drive (C), double-click the db folder.
3. Double-click the update folder.
