5. To add new destinations, select Add. The New Destination window appears.
a. Define the following options:
— Remote IP
— Remote Port
— Write community
— Read community
b. To send a test SNMP trap, select Test Trap.
c. Select OK to save and close, or select Cancel to close without saving.
6. To edit existing destinations, highlight the existing destination and select Edit. The Edit Destination
window appears.

b. To send a test SNMP trap with the updated information, select Test Trap.
c. Select OK to save and close, or select Cancel to close without saving.
7. To remove existing destinations, highlight the existing destination and select Remove. The destination is
removed from the Destination list.
8. Select OK to save and close, or select Cancel to close without saving.
Starting up HP Insight Environmental Observer
1. Be sure that batteries are correctly installed in all sensor nodes.
2. Be sure that each sensor node is powered on.
