3. Inside the db folder, double-click the init_db.bat file.
WARNING: If this script runs on an existing database all data and configuration settings are
permanently lost.
4. After the command prompt window appears, enter Yes (case sensitive) to initialize the database.
5. At the end of the script, press any key to finish creating the database.
Installing the JBOSS application container
HP Insight Environmental Observer uses JBOSS as its runtime environment. To install JBOSS, unpack the
jboss-4.2.2.GA.zip directory from your installation CD and archive it to the C:\Program Files directory
on your machine. To install programs to a different drive, replace C with the appropriate drive letter.
