Base Unit
Caution: Parts can be damaged by

containers until needed. Ensure that you
are properly grounded when touching
static sensitive components.

Caution: When the library has only
one power supply, and this power supply
is faulty, you must power off the library
before removing and replacing this
power supply.
If the library has two power supplies
(redundant) and only one of them is
faulty, you do not need to power off
the library to replace this power supply.

Inspect the contents of the kit.
To replace a single
power supply, power
off the library. If the
faulty power supply
is redundant, you
do not have to
power off the library.
a. Stop all library
activity
and ensure that the
picker is empty.
b. Open the doors at the rear of the rack.
c. Set the rack power switch at the upper right
corner to the OFF position.
d. Remove the AC power cords.
Warning: Hazardous voltage is present
in the power supply cavity if the power
cord is not removed.
