Replacement
Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to loosen the captive
screw in the ejector handles at both ends of the
card. Push in the red tabs on the ejector handles,
push the ejector handles outward, and then pull
on them to remove the card from the card cage.
Place the card into an electrostatic bag.

Verify that the library robotics controller card
ACTIVE LED is green. If necessary, upgrade
firmware using the Interface Manager's
Command Line Interface. See the HP
StorageWorks Command View TL User Guide
for detailed procedures for upgrading firmware.

Holding the ejector handles, slide the replacement
card into the card cage slot. As you feel the card
seat into the backplane, push the ejector handles
inward to fully seat the card. Tighten the captive
screws in both ejector handles.
Reconnect the Ethernet cable to the Public Ethernet
port.
Close the back
doors of the library.
Power on the library.
a. Set the rack power switch at the upper
right corner to the ON position.
b. Observe that all power indicators on the
power supplies show that power was
restored.
