Connect the other end of the FC cable to its
corresponding port on the interface controller
card. Attach a label to each end of the cable to
mark the port designations. Complete this cabling
process for all drives.

Verify that the FC port LED on the interface
controller card is solid green.

If necessary, upgrade the drive firmware using
the Interface Manager's Command Line Interface.

procedures on upgrading drive firmware.
Note: A new drive will not be
recognized by the library until after a
reboot.
