■ SNMP management using the Fibre Channel Fabric Element MIB
(Version 3.1), Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP),
MIB-II definition (RFC 1213), or a product-specific MIB that runs on each
director or switch. Up to six authorized management workstations can be
configured through the associated Element Manager application to receive
unsolicited SNMP trap messages. The trap messages indicate operational state
changes and failure conditions.
