Edge Switch 2/32
The Edge Switch 2/32 provides 2.125 Gbps fabric connectivity for to up to 32
Fibre Channel devices. Figure 11 illustrates the front of the switch.
Shortwave laser transceivers are available for transferring data over
multimode fiber-optic cable. Longwave laser transceivers are available for
transferring data over single-mode fiber-optic cable. Fiber-optic cables attach
to switch port transceivers with duplex LC connectors. Green and amber
status LEDs are associated with each port.
