29SAN High Availability Planning Guide
Shortwave laser transceivers are available for transferring data over multimode
fiber-optic cable. Longwave laser transceivers are available for transferring data
over single-mode fiber-optic cable. Fiber-optic cables attach to small form factor
pluggable transceivers (SFP) with duplex LC connectors. Green and amber status
light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are associated with each port.

Edge Switch 2/16
The Edge Switch 2/16 provides 2.125 Gbps fabric connectivity for to up to 16
Fibre Channel devices. Figure 7 illustrates the front of the switch.
