Task 13: Complete the Planning Worksheet

The planning worksheet included in this task is a four-page form that depicts port

assignments for a director or switch. The worksheet lists 64 ports and provides

fields to identify devices that connect to the ports.

Transfer information from the configuration diagram (completed while

performing “Task 11: Diagram the Planned Configuration” on page 189) to the

worksheet, and transfer port names and nicknames (assigned while performing

“Task 12: Assign Port Names and Nicknames” on page 190). In addition, indicate

all unused ports. Retain the planning worksheet as part of a permanent record.
