Error 218: Invalid Port
Number
The value specified for the
port number is invalid.
Enter a port number
within the range
supported by the director
or edge switch. Valid
values are:
■ 0–15 for the Edge
Switch 2/16
■ 0–23 for the Edge
Switch 2/24
■ 0–31 for the Edge
Switch 2/32
■ 0–63 for the Director
2/64
■ 0–127 and 132–143
for the Director
2/140
Error 219: Invalid Port
Type
The value specified for the
port type is invalid.
A port may be configured
as an E_Port, a G_Port, or
an F_Port. Make sure the
port is configured
appropriately and
resubmit the command.
The Fx_port and Gx_port
types are also supported
on the Edge Switch 2/24.
Error 222: Invalid SNMP
Community Index
The value specified for the
SNMP community index
is invalid.
The SNMP community
index must be an integer
in the range 1–6. Enter
an integer in the range
1–6.
Error 223: Unknown Error The switch did not accept
the request.

representative.
Error 224: Invalid
Argument
The values entered for one
or more parameters of the
command are invalid. For
example, a letter may
have been entered where
an integer is required.
Refer to
Chapter 2 for
information about the
commands and their
parameters. Check that all
values for the parameters
meet the CLI
requirements, and then
reenter the command.
