Additional 3PAR InServ Storage Systems can be configured with 3PAR VSS Provider using the
following CLI command:
C:\Program Files\3par\HWPRV>ProvCfg.exe InServ -sys par002.hp.com -user DP -pass
myPassword -sockssl on
Success. Configuration for InServ Storage System <par002.hp.com> has been created
successfully.
You will need to restart the Volume Shadow Copy service and 3PAR VSS Provider
service for this change to become effective.
To check if the configured 3PAR storage system has all the required licenses enabled, execute the
following command:
C:\Program Files\3par\HWPRV>ProvCfg.exe InServ -sys par002.hp.com -detail

Backing up virtual volumes from two different 3PAR storage systems in the same backup session is not
supported.
Prior to starting a backup session, ensure that all virtual volumes that are part of the backup set, have
Copy Space Common Provisioning Group (CPG) configured (see
Figure 14).
