Post-Upgrade Steps
Install the Performance Monitor Service
The Performance Monitor Service contains two components: the
Performance Dashboard and the MxS Perfmon extension to the native
Windows Performance tool. It can be installed after installing HP
Clustered File System. Locate the MxS_Perfmon_3.6.1.<xxxx>.<arch>.msi
file on the product CD or in the directory where you downloaded the
product and then double-click the file to install it. Be sure to install the
version that corresponds to your operating system (32-bit or 64-bit). You
will need to install the software on each node in the cluster.
Changes Necessitated by the Upgrade
After upgrading to HP Clustered File System 3.6.1, you may need to
make the following changes to your configuration:
Replace membership partitions that are too small
(3.4 upgrades only)
Recreate concatenated dynamic volumes
(3.4 upgrades only)
Remove custom setting for GcTrimLevel
(3.4 upgrades only)
Upgrade filesystems for Alternate Data Streams (ADS)
(all upgrades)
Upgrade filesystems for 8.3 support (only if 8.3 support is needed)
