Fixes
HP Clustered File System 3.6.1 hotfix 1 resolves the following issues:
• Defect 23932. Filesystem corruption could g enerate a page fault that caused
the system to
panic. Also, the psfscheck utility terminated early, during the
"Reinitiali
zing Journal" phase, when it encountered corruption in a large file in
the process
of being truncated.
• Defect 24203. When 8.3 SFNs were enabled with extended character support,
a CRC error occurred when the user attempted to create or change a filename
containin
g certain extended ASCII or unicode characters.
• Defect 24 225. In some cases, the PSFS filesystem failed to grant p rivileged
access to files.
• Defect 25079. This fixisintendedforClusteredGatewaySystems.Settingsfor
the lanman server registry items were not correctly tuned for larger CIFS work
loads such that the McAfee virus scan software would see Event 2021 or Event
2022 ale
rts in its logs. The registry values are now more correctly tuned for
this ty
pe of work load.
• Defect 25 285. An issue with SNMP trap event notification could corrupt packet
data.
• Defec
t25286. Eventnotifications were sent for some internal events that were
not listed or selectable.
• Defect 25305. An issue with SNMP trap event notification caused HP SIM to
disp
lay variable bindings incorrectly.
