HP Clustered File System 3.6.0 includes the following enhancements and new features.

• Single sign-on. Clustered File System now uses AD single sign-on semantics to authorize users
attemptin

to access the cluster.
• Role-Based Security Control. You can create roles, define the operations that are allowed or
denied for each role, and add specific user or g roup accounts to the roles.
• Auditing
of all login attempts and user-initiated actions that change the cluster configuration.
Availability features
• Dynamic volume recovery.
• Online membership pa r tition repair and replacement. Membership par titions can now be added,
repaired, or replaced while Clustered File System is running.
Cluster management features

viewer. The event viewer shows the Clustered File System event messages currently
in

indows event log. You can filter the output to lim it the messages that appear, and you
can

play details about specific messages.
• New event notifi er services. The event notifier services can be configuredtosendanSNMPtrap,

send email, or to run a script when specific Clustered File System events occur.
• New Clustered File S ystem SNMP service. This service pr ovides an SNMP extension agent and
MIBs for r etrieval of all cluster-wide state and status information.
