Workaround—Consider discontinuing the Content Indexing Service.
Window s 2003 problem can cause processes to block [7783]
A defectexistsinWindows StorageServer2003thatcan causehigh-priority processestobecome
blocked by low-priority processes. If this condition occurs, it can result in H P Clustered File SystemGateway
nodes being incorrectly ejected from the cluster memb ership. To diagnose, look for the word skew” in
<Program Files>\HP Clustered File System\conf\debug\grpcommd.log or <Install Dir>\HP Clustered File
System\conf\debug\g rpcommd.log on the nod e that was ejected; repeated time skews of 5 seconds, or
lone time
skews of more than 15 seconds, may indicate that this defe ct is being encountered.
Workaround—Consider discontinuing low-priorit y processes such as screen savers, the Content Indexing
Service, and so on.
