Synchronized bookmarks do not work with secondary interface [13411]
If you are unable to connect to the cluster using the primary network interfaces on your servers because of
the
network infrastructure or a rewall, the "Synchronize Server Bookmarks Automatically" option s hould
be
disabled. If it is not disabled, bookmarks that contain addresses on a secondary interface will be
replaced with t
he
unreachable primary interface.
The Java client VM crashes when mx commands are run from a monitor script
[1358 7]
Although not a x for this issue, placing a .matrixrc le in the following folder m ay prevent the crash.

mx fs destroy
partially destroys snapshots [13996]
Do not use the mx fs destroy command to remove a snapshot. If you attempt to delete a snapshot with the
mx
fs destroy
command, the snapshot lesystem will be removed but the snapshot will remain on the
array. You will then need to manually remove the snapshot LUNs from the array. (After removing the
LUN s, you will see disk import errors on the console for the LUNs that were removed.)
If you need to delete a snapshot, either use the m x snapshot destroy comm and or locate the snapshot
on the
HP CFS
Management Console, right-click, and select Delete.
lanman IRPStackSize Is Too Small [14219 ]
After i nstalling applications that use the IRP stack (such as some AntiVirus software), you may see error
messages indicating that the value of the lanman IRPStackSize parameter needs to be increased. This
problem has also been seen when upgrading HP Clustered File System from a release earlier than 3.4.
(HP Clustered File System uses an additional IRP stack in release 3.4 and later.)
The err or messages are as follows:

Not enough memory to complete transaction. Close some applications and retry.

It is recommended that the IRPStackSize be raised by increments of 1 until the error is resolved.
Memory-mapped sparse les are not supported [15437]
Attempts to create a memory-mapped sparse le or to mark an existing memory-mapped le as sparse
will fail with a “Status not supported” error.
Roles can allow users to run scripts as LocalSystem [16442]
A role granting create or modify rights for m onitor or notication scripts a llows the user to run the scripts
as
LocalSystem, effectively allowing the user to be a machine local adm inistrator. If security is a concern,
ensure that only machine local administrators are allowed to create or modify event notication settings
and
monitors. (Monitors are included in the ap plication and le-serving resources.)
