If the output includes any “Host ID” entries, you will need to clear the entries from the host registry as
described below. If there are no “Host ID” entries in the output, you do not need to take any action.
To clear the host registry:
1. Run the mpdump com m a nd to save the existing m emb ership partition data.
mpdump -F
2. Run the mpimport comma nd to recreate the membership partitions. (This c om m a nd clears the HP
Clustered File SystemGateway host registry and then recreates the membership partitions using
the data
saved in step 1.)

File Server Resource Manager cannot be used [12239]
The F ile Serv
er
Resource Manager p rovided with Windows 2003 R2 is not compatible with PSFS volumes
and cannot be used to manage them.
Add or Remove Programs appears to hang [12924]
On startup, Add or Remove Programs enumerates the contents of all top-level directori es of mounted
volumes. When the root or top-level directories on PSFS lesystems contain large numbers of les, Add or
Remove Programs appears to hang during this step.
Workaround—Do not overpopulate the root directory and the top-level director ies of PSFS lesystems
with large numbers of les. Instead, place the les in subdirectories.
Filesyste
misnot recreatedwithpreviousoptions [13107]
The Recrea
te Filesystem window on the HP Clustered Filesystem Manag em ent Console contains an Options
button. If
you recreate a lesystem and do not open the Options dialog, the lesystem will be recreated
with the d
efault options instead of the options that were set when the lesystem was originally created.
Workarou
nd—When you recreate a lesystem, open and then close the Options dialog before clicking
OK
on the R
ecreate Filesystem Window. The lesystem will then be recreated with its original options.
Shadowcopyoptionisavailable forsnapclones[13275]
When you create a snapclone on the Create Snapshot window, the option to "Share as Shadow Copy
of
Shared Folder" is available; however, a shadow copy cannot be created from a snapclone and
the
option is unused.
mx quota --defaultQuotaType command is case-sensitive [13284]
The argument for the mx quota --defaultQuotaType command must be specied in lower-case letters. A
Java exception occurs if upper-case letters are used.
