To extend a dynamic volume from the command line, use the following
command:
mx dynvolume extend <volumeName> <subDeviceName,
subDeviceName,...>
Destroy a Dynamic Volume
When a dynamic volume is destroyed, the filesystem on that volume, and
any persistent mounts for the filesystem, are also destroyed. Before
destroying a dynamic volume, be sure that the filesystem is no longer
needed or has been copied or backed up to another location.
To destroy a dynamic volume from the HP CFS Management Console,
select Storage > Dynamic Volume > Destroy Volume. On the Destroy
Dynamic Volume window, select the volume that you want to destroy
and click either OK or APPLY.
To destroy a dynamic volume from the command line, use the following
command:
mx dynvolume destroy <volumeName>
