HBA Driver Procedures
This appendix describes the following procedures:
• Replacing an HBA card.
• Installing an HBA driver version that is provided with HP Clustered
File System but is not the default.
• Installing an HBA driver version that is not provided with HP
Clustered File System.
• Enabling the QLogic failover feature.
Replacing an HBA Card
To replace an HBA card, complete the following steps:
1. Shut down the HP Clustered File System software.
/etc/init.d/pmxs stop
2. Disable the HP Clustered File System startup script.
/sbin/chkconfig --del pmxs
3. Shut down the server.
init 0
4. Swap out the HBA card.
5. Power up the server.
