Install HP Clustered File System
This chapter describes how to perform a new installation of HP Clustered
File System on servers running SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.
Supported Operating Systems
The supported operating systems and kernels are as follows. See the HP
Web site for any updates to the list of supported kernels.
Contents of the Clustered File System
Distribution
The Clustered File System distribution contains both 32- and 64-bit
versions of the software. There are directories on the CD media that are
clearly named to reflect this. Each directory contains the following files:
• pmxs-3.1.1-<xxxx><arch>.rpm. The Clustered File System software in
Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) format. The RPM also includes
drivers for the supported Host Bus Adapters.
• mxconsole-3.1.1-<xxxx>.<arch>.rpm. The Management Console and mx
utility in RPM format.
