Enhancements in HP Clustered File System 3.6.1
HP Clustered File System 3.6.1 includes the following new features and implementation
changes:
• Performance Dashb oard and MxS Perfmon extension to the native Windows
Performance tool. The Performance Dashboard provides server and cluster
performance data over a period of time (the last hour, day, week, month, or
year). Filesystem data is provided for individual PSFS filesystems and can be
aggregated for all PSFS filesystems. Th e MxS Per fmon extension extends the
native Windows Performance tool by adding Performance Objects and counters
for HP Clustered File System.
• Support for Alternate Da ta Streams (ADS) in the PSFS filesystem. Filesystems
created under 3.6 .1 automatically have ADS support. F iles ystems created in
previous HP Clustered File System releases must be upgraded to enable ADS
support.
• Support for 8.3 shor t file names and name tunneling in the PSFS filesystem. This
featuremustbeenabled manually on those filesystems requiring 8.3 support.
