Description
Emulex HBAnyware fails to install
HP Clustere d File System requires that the HBAnyware package be installed
on
systems with Emulex HBAs. The HBAnyware installation sometimes fails on
Windows 2003 systems. If you experience this problem, reboot the system and
then
retry the installation.
QLogic Switc h login can cau se H P Clustered File System failures
HP Clustered File System will not start if you are logged into a QLogic FibreChannel
switch and“adminstart”isset. Ifyou logintothe switch with “admin start”
while HP Clustered File System is running, this switch problem can affect fencing
operations and may cause the cluster to hang.
Workaround. Avoid putting the switch into “admin start” mode while HP Clustered
File System is running. If it is necessary to use this mode while HP Clustered File
System is running, limit the use of the mode as much as possible.
Content Indexing can cause ClusterPulse problems
The Content Indexing Service can c ause ClusterPulse connections to be dropped.
Workaround. Consider discontinuing the Content Indexing Service.
