HP Clustered File System product update 3.6.0h1 (T4421-96015, April 2008)

Prerequisites
HP Clustered File S
ystem 3.6.0 on a supported version of Windows Server 2003.
Installation instructions
To install the hotfix, complete these steps on each server:
1. DisabletheHPClusteredFileSystemserviceontheserver. UsetheMicrosoft
Management Console Ser vices snap-in or the following command:
sc config matrixserver start= disabled
2. Reboot the node.
3. Copy the MxS_3.6.0_hotfix1.<arch>.msi file to the server.
4. Install the new hotfix. Double-click the MxS_3.6.0_hotfix1.<arch>.msi file
and run the installer.
5. Reboot the node.
6. Enable the HP Clustered File System service. Use the Microsoft Manag ement
Console Services snap-in or the following command:
sc config matrixserver start= auto
7. Start HP Clustered File System on the ser ver. Use the Microsoft Management
Console Services snap-in or the following command:
net start matrixserver
Remove the hotfix
To remove th
ehotfix, complete the following steps on each server:
1. Stop the HP Clustered File System service.
2. Use the Add/Remove Programs control panel to remove the hotfix.
3. Reboot the
server.
