Fixes
HP Clustered Fi
le System 3.6.0 hotfix 1 resolves the following issues:
• Defect 17964. A public community string was required for fabric fencing
configurations. Also, the FC switches had to be accessible via an ICMP ping.
• Defect 19388. The Event Notifi cations control panel was too large for typical
remote deskto
presolutions.
• Defect19564.Whenaclonedsnapshotvolumewasmountedandanodewas
then rebooted, some dynamic volumes might not be imported.
• Defect 19722
. HP Clustered File System did not correctly identify the loca tion at
which loop attached devices logged into the FC switch.
• Defect 19875. User-supplied community strings were not exported correctly.
• Defect 1983
1. A d e f e c t i n t h e filesystem full-zone bitmap code could potentially
cause the system to bug check or panic during normal use. This issue was limited
to a small set of filesystems of specificsizes.
• Defect 19921. When a user attempted to write from one to eight bytes of zeros,
the write did not occur, which could result in file corruption.
• Defect 1
9934. Under certain contentious CIFS workloads, a write o peration
couldcausethesystemtobugcheck.
• Defect 19945. Aler ts for concatenated dynam ic volumes created in earlier HP
Cluster
ed File System releases could not be removed from the HP Management
Console until the volumes were recreated. These Alerts have been replaced
by an informational local message.
• Defect
20256. A drive letter assigne d to a filesystem on one or m ore nodes
was ch
anged incorrectly on all nodes when the drive letter was reassigned ( for
examp

This
issue did not affect mount path assignments and occurred only when the HP
Management Console was used to assign the drive letter.
