Battery replacement notice
WARNING!
The computer contains an i nternal lithium manganese dioxide, a vanadium pentoxide, or an alkaline
battery pack. A risk of fire and burns exists if the battery pack is not properly handled. To reduce the
risk of personal injury:
• Do not attempt to recharge the battery.
• Do not expose the battery to temperatures higher than 60˚C(140˚F).
• Do not disassemb le, crush, p uncture, short external contacts, or dispose of in fire or water.
Batteries, b attery packs, and accumulators should not be disposed of together with the general
household waste. To forward them to recycling or proper disposal, please use the public c ollection system
or return them to HP, an authorized HP Partner, or their agents.
