The DP Storage Server is preconfigured with optimized storage settings
and preinstalled with the operating system (OS) . This chapter provides
additional details about the preconfigured storage configurations for the
following DP Storage Server platforms:

Storage for DL100 G2 DP Storage Servers, page 33
•
Storage for DL310 G3 DP Storage Servers, page 37
•
Storage for DL380 G4 DP Storage Servers, page 38
Storage for D L100 G2 D P Storage Servers
Storage is preconfigured for each of the HP ProLiant DL100 G2 DP Storage
Server models:
• DL100G21TBDPStorageServer(preconfigured for internal
storage)
• DL100 G2 3TB DP Storage Server (preconfigured for single
MSA20 storage array)
• DL100 G2 6TB DP Storage Server (preconfigured for two MSA20
storage arrays)
The 1TB model is configured prior to shipment from the factory. No
additional storage configuration is needed. The 1TB model can be
reconfigured using the Adaptec Array Storage M anager (ASM) utility.

The 3TB and 6TB models are configured prior to shipment from the factory.
No additional stor
age configuration is needed. The 3TB and 6TB models
can be reconfigured using the HP Array Configuration Utility (ACU). The
