What file formats can I print when using HP Designjet ePrint & Share from a web browser?
The following file formats are supported when using the following HP Designjet ePrint & Share access
methods:
Email Printing: PDF, TIFF, JPEG
Open in feature for the HP Designjet ePrint & Share app: PDF
FTP for the HP Designjet ePrint & Share app and from a web browser: PDF, Tiff, JPEG, PLT
HP Designjet driver with ePrint & Share: HPGL2 and PCL3 (for HP Designjet 120 24" only)
Why is only a single page printing instead of the whole document when I click “Download”
after selecting the multipage file?
In order to print the full content of a multipage document select the multipage file in the Online Print
History and then click the “Print” button. The HP Designjet Preview dialog window will open. From there
select the option “Save to file” in the ePrinters drop-down menu. Once this option is selected, click the
“Print” button. This will download a single tiff file for every page of the document at once.
Why is a file someone shared with me not appearing on the top of my list?
Files displayed on the Online Print History are sorted by creation date or by file name. When a file is
shared with other users, it will still keep the original creation date. This means that the shared files will
be sorted on the recipients’ Online Print History according to the original creation date (in other words,
when the original owner first saved the document).
It is also possible to filter the Online Print History by clicking on the “Shared with me” tab, as this will
only display the files that have been shared with you.
Why are there unreadable characters in the filename?
The current version of the HP Designjet ePrint & Share is available in the following languages: English,
French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional
Chinese, and Russian.
HP Designjet ePrint & Share has limited support for filenames using special characters, international
letters or double-byte characters (such as in some Asian languages). Some files using these characters
will not appear on the search results or if they do, will have its filename displaying garbled text, for
example ~~~~~~.jpg.
This limitation doesn’t affect the functionality or the quality of the files available on the Online Print
History. These files could be printed, shared or downloaded as with any other file.
