Installation best practices for Data Protector SharePoint Granular Recovery Extension

For each SharePoint client (WFE and CA) check if the following files

<SharePoint home directory>\Resources

• GranularRecovery*.resx

are located in the Resources directory, if so delete them manually.

For each SharePoint client (WFE and CA) check if the following subdirectories are removed

• \LOGS\GranularRecovery

• \TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\GranularRecovery

• \TEMPLATE\IMAGES\GranularRecovery

• \TEMPLATE\FEATURES\GranularRecovery

Inetpub directory

For each SharePoint client (WFE and CA) check if the following files

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\<port>\App_GlobalResources\Gran

ularRecovery*.resx

are removed.
