Compiling scripts
This section explains how to compile various scripts to regulate MaxDB’s logwriter process. Six files
are needed: three cmd and three txt files.
Place all script files on the application server in the <Data_Protector_Home>/bin directory, for
example, C:\Program Files\OmniBack\bin.
The following information and credentials hold true for the test environment used:

Note:
You will need a grep-like utility called qgrep installed on the appli
cation
server. The utility can help you find lines specific to an expression, allowing
you to get information on the files you want.
