Configuration summary
This is a summary of the software stack required and steps to be executed on each of the systems
involved in the setup.

Prepare the environment
Before proceeding, ensure the following have been performed:
• The Data Protector Cell Manager is configured, clients are set up and the necessary agents have
been deployed.
• Required Data Protector licenses have been installed.
• Your application and backup servers have been configured in the HP P4000 CMC with the
appropriate Initiator Node Name.
• The HP P4000 Volumes needed for the application have been created.
