Set HP P4000 Authentication Console group credentials
After the VSS Hardware Provider installation is finished, and before you can use the VSS framework,
you need to set the HP P4000 management group credentials. To do this, use the P4000
Authentication Console, which is installed when the Hardware Provider is installed. You can find the
Authentication Console in Programs, under LeftHand Networks. These credentials include:
• Management group name
• Management group username and password
You can use the same username to log into all management groups, or use a unique username for
each different management groups.
Once the Credentials wizard has been started, the following window will appear. Note that
username and password are case-sensitive:

After the wizard is finished and you have entered the credentials for the different Management
Groups, the Authentication Console shows the configured credentials. In this example configuration,
default credentials are used for all Management Groups.
