Install HP P4000 DSM for MPIO

The HP P4000 DSM for MPIO is vendor-specific software that enhances multi-pathing using a

Microsoft MPIO framework when using HP P4000 environments. It enables fault-tolerant paths to the

storage nodes, while increasing the available bandwidth. MPIO software provides I/O path

redundancy, failover, and load balancing.

The P4000 DSM for MPIO software can be found in the “HP LeftHand P4000 Windows Solution

Pack.”

Figure 9 shows the P4000 Windows Solution Pack installer screen, with the following installation

options:

• HP LeftHand VSS Provider

• HP LeftHand DSM for MPIO

Note: You need to install the software on both the application and backup servers.
