Using the Data Protector CLI

1. Log in to a Data Protector client with the Data Protector User Interface component

installed.

2. Open the command-line interface and change to the following directory:

Data_Protector_home\bin

3. To get a list of VMware backup objects created in a particular backup session, enter:

omnidb -session SessionID

4. To get details on a particular backup object, enter:

omnidb -vepa BackupObjectName -session SessionID -catalog

Here is one example of a backup object name:

any.company.com::/%2FElDatacentro/0/%2Fvm%2Fharbour
