Specifies the virtual machine
path. For example, /vm/myTestVM.
-disk DiskName
Specifies a virtual machine’s
disk to be restored. If the
option is not specified, the
complete virtual machine is
restored.
-newinstance TargetDatacenter
Specifies a datacenter to which
a virtual machine should be
restored.
-store TargetDatastore
Specifies a datastore to which a
virtual machine’s files should
be restored. If the option is
not specified, the files are
restored to the original
datastore.
-consolidate
Consolidates a virtual machine’s
disks when the backup completes.
-memory
Restores a virtual machine’s
memory file if it was backed up.
-register
Registers a virtual machine in
the target VMware management
client.
-poweron
Powers on a virtual machine when
the restore completes.
[-deletebefore | -skip]
-deletebefore Deletes a pre-
existing virtual machine before
it is restored.
skip Skips the restore of a
pre-existing virtual machine.
If this option is not specified,
the -deletebefore logic is
used.
-directory
Specifies a directory on the
backup host to which a virtual
machine should be restored.
