Installation
Prerequisites
The operating system must support the Simplified Chinese locale.
Installing the patches
Download the patches from http://support.openview.hp.com/selfsolve/patches.Under Product,
select Data Protector, the product version (6.11), and the desired operating system version.

To install support for Simplified Chinese:
1. Back up your system.
2. Stop the Data Protector services on the Cell Manager and install the Data Protector A.06.11
patches locally on the Cell Manager system. If the Installation Server is not on the same system,
install them on the Installation Server as well.
NOTE: The Cell Manager and documentation patches depend on the Core patch, which must
be installed first.
Follow the installation procedures in the patch documentation.
3. Using the Client context of the Data Protector GUI, remotely install the patches (components) to
all clients which you want to update.
During the installation, some errors may be reported. See Troubleshooting.
