The Data Protector Express patch 6.0.01 applies important bug fixes to the existing Data Protector
Express 6.0.00 installation. This release notes is in continuation to the Data Protector Express
6.0.00 Release Notes.

Data Protector Express Basic is a special variant of Data Protector Express only available with the
purchase of HP StorageWorks tape drives, tape autoloaders, and MSL tape libraries. This edition
has a reduced feature set and environmental support compared to Data Protector Express. Customers
can upgrade from Data Protector Express 6.0 Basic to Data Protector Express 6.0 for 1 Server by
purchasing either upgrade LTU part numbers:
• TC333B (physical media kit)
• TC333BAE (eDelivery)
