4. Exit RBSU.
Reconfiguring the 1GbE MAC addresses
The networking must be reconfigured to assign the new MAC addresses for the eth0, eth1, eth2
and eth3 1GbE ports on the replacement motherboard.
In the following example we are configuring eth0; repeat the procedure for each of the other
three eth ports.
1. Login to StoreOnce CLI, enter hpsupport and access the shell.
2. Find the address of the eth port (eth0 in our example):
cat/sys/class/net/eth0/address
3. Edit the following file and modify the HWADDR value to the new MAC address shown in the
address file.
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
