Configurable parts
The only field replacement units in the internal network switches are the PSUs, which are standard
parts.
PSU and single network switches
These two items are hot-swappable. Order the correct replacement part and follow the instructions
in the relevant Switch guide.
IMPORTANT: If changing a power supply, care must be taken to ensure that there is no interference
with any of the PDUs and power cabling.

network switch ports, taking care not
to disturb cabling to the ports on the
second network switch or the
couplet(s).

Do NOT connect any ethernet cables
at this time. Power on the switch.
Configure the switch via Serial Cable. See Update the
switch firmware (page 37).
Ensure that the software is at the
correct software revision level and
configure the switch to the specific
B6200 configuration.
See Switch cabling diagrams (page 41).Carefully reconnect the ethernet cables
from the other internal network
switch(es) and couplet(s), making sure
to connect the ports correctly.
