To set up Remote Support
Remote Support is a standard feature that is enabled and available to all users.
1. Log on to the StoreOnce GUI for the appliance and select Remote Support.
2. Click Modify. Select Passive: Automatically send log files to HP and provide the details for the
proxy server that enables internet access for Remote Support. If required for the network
environment, check the Enable Authentication box and provide authentication name and
password details. Click OK.
NOTE: Details for the Enterprise Server (the server that will receive the event messages) are
provided by the StoreOnce Backup system and cannot be edited.
