8 Restoring a backup file

Complete the following steps to restore a backup file:

1. From the menu bar, select File Backup, Archive and Restore.

2. Click Select for Restore. NetBackup shows the list of backup operations performed.

3. Select one or more entries.

4. Select the directory hierarchy for the restore.

5. From the menu bar, select Actions Restore to open the Restore Marked Files window.

6. Browse to the appropriate location where you want files to be placed after they are restored.

7. Click OK.

8. Click Start Restore.
