NOTE: Note the following command entry information:
Use the up and down arrow key are used to scroll through previously entered command
sequences; you can then edit and enter previous command sequences. This capability speeds
the entry after entering multiple instances of similar command sequences.
A short form exists for each command. The short form comprises at least the first three characters
of each command and be unique from other short form commands. For example, for system
show repository, shorten the command by entering sys sho repo at the CLI prompt.
Recall help on different levels of each command. For example, if you enter each word in the
cifs add localadmin command separately from the CLI user prompt, you can then enter
up to move up to the previous level or press Home to return to the highest level.
For example, with the cifs add localadmin command, if you enter cifs and then add
from the command prompt, and then enter help to acquire help information regarding this
command, the following is displayed. If you enter up from the CLI user prompt below, for
example, you are taken from the cifs add # command prompt to the cifs # command
prompt.

Viewing Help
To view brief descriptions of all global commands and commands that are available to the current
user level, enter:
help
Additionally, include a command or command group after help to see help specific to that
command or command group.
For further assistance in using the Common CLI, the following help features exist:
If you enter a correct command sequence but use incorrect syntax, information on the correct
syntax is displayed.
If you enter an invalid command sequence, information on valid permutations of the command
elements are displayed.
Transferring Files
Transfer of files to and from the StoreOnce appliance is managed with a repository directory within
the appliance. Access to the directory is controlled through the secure FTP.
