system scan devices
Description of Command Function
Scans the StoreOnce system for any new, existing, or missing components that need to have their
warranty serial number entitlements entered (for example, a storage expansion upgrade requires
a re-scan in order for the storage expansion devices to be detected for warranty entitlement).
NOTE: To apply a warranty entitlement, the required component must first be discovered. See
the system set warrantyserial command for additional information.

Not applicable – no parameters exist within this command.
Requirements for Command Execution
This command applies to only StoreOnce 2700, 4500, 4700, 4900, B6200, or 6500 products
that support Remote Support.
Successful Command Output
Upon successful completion of the command, the following is displayed:
Command Successful – Scan completed
Command Operation during Abnormal Conditions
None.
