3. Insert the QR USB sticks into one of the front or rear USB ports of each node of the HP
StoreOnce cluster.
If using QR DVD disks, place a QR-DVD in the DVD drive on each node of the HP B6200
cluster.
4. Power down all nodes.
a. Press and hold the power button on each server
b. Wait until the buttons are amber on all servers
5. Connect into the internal network
a. Connect your laptop into the internal network switch at the top of Rack 1.
b. Rack 1 has the network switch with 1GbE ports
c. There should be a spare 1GbE port at ports 13 to 16.
6. Login to the P2000 controllers for each node in your cluster to delete the volumes.
PLEASE DO NOT delete the vdisks
• For a 1 couplet system use: 10.154.2.1 and 10.154.2.2
• For a 2 couplet system add to the list: 10.154.2.3 and 10.154.2.4
• For a 3 couplet system add to the list: 10.154.2.5 and 10.154.2.6
• For a 4 couplet system add to the list: 10.154.2.7 and 10.154.2.8
Login credentials are:
• User : manage
• Password : !manage
You can use the P2000 CLI to perform the deleting of the volumes, or use the P2000 GUI
Storage Management Utility (SMU).
IMPORTANT: Whichever method you use, the volumes must be removed from all the storage
controllers. Ensure that the steps in the selected option are performed for all the controllers.
For example, on a four-couplet system it will be necessary to log into 8 controllers to delete
all the volumes.
• Using the P2000 CLI
1. Login to the StoreOnce CLI, and using the hpsupport command, access the Linux
shell.
2. From the Linux shell, type:
ssh –| manage <IP_address_shown_above>
3. Obtain the volume names:
show volumes
4. Delete each of the volumes:
delete volume <volume name>
