CAUTION: Do not operate the D2220sb with the access panel open or removed. Operating the
D2220sb in this manner results in improper airflow and improper cooling that can lead to thermal
damage.
To remove the component:
1. Back up all data on the D2220sb.
2. Power down the partner server blade (on page 21).
3. Remove the D2220sb (on page 21).
4. Remove the access panel (on page 26).
5. Open the drive drawer. Extend the drawer to gain access to the FBWC module.
6. Remove the cache module from the system board.
The drive drawer and cable spool are not shown for clarity.
7. Place the module in a static-free environment.
